Ordering

An order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we email you a confirmation. We may decline an order — for instance if we cannot make it, if the price was listed in error, or if we suspect fraud — and if we do, you are refunded in full.

Prices

Prices are shown in Australian dollars unless your region is displayed in another currency, and include GST where GST applies. Prices can change, but never after you have paid. If a price is obviously wrong, we will tell you before making anything and refund you if you would rather not proceed.

Made to order

Every garment is printed when ordered. Small variations in ink density and placement are inherent to printing on cotton and cotton-fleece garments and are not faults. Colours on your screen will differ slightly from cloth.

The artwork

The designs, drawings, wordmark and site content are ours or licensed to us. Buying a garment does not transfer any rights in the artwork. Please do not reproduce the designs commercially.

The figures we draw come from myths that belong to everyone. Our particular drawings of them do not.

Limits

We provide this site as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here excludes any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded, and where a Consumer Guarantee applies our liability is limited to replacing the goods or refunding you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

Returns and size swaps

Each HEREDITAS garment is printed for your order; nothing is held in stock. Making takes 2 to 5 business days before your parcel is posted. Delivery estimates on our shipping page are estimates, and the outer limits are real. You may cancel within 24 hours for a full refund; after that it is being made. If a garment is faulty, damaged in transit, or not what you ordered, we will remake it or refund you in full. If the size is not right we will swap it once within 30 days, unworn and unwashed, with return postage at your cost and the replacement at ours. We cannot take a return simply because you have changed your mind about the garment itself. None of this affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
