Every HEREDITAS garment is made when you order it. Nothing sits in a warehouse, which is why there is a wait, and why there is no unsold stock.

Where we send

Australia and the United States. We would like that list to be longer and it will be.

Free postage

Everything ships free on orders of A$55 or more — in Australia and the United States alike, the VENATOR hoodie included.

Our shirts are A$34.99 and the hoodie is A$79.99, so in practice the only order that pays postage is a single shirt on its own. Two shirts ship free. The hoodie on its own ships free.

What a single shirt costs to send

Postage is quoted live by our fulfilment partner at checkout, based on where you are.

  • One shirt within Australia: about A$11 to A$14
  • One shirt to the United States: about A$5 to A$9, depending on whether you pick Economy or Standard

Why a range rather than a figure: our fulfilment partner prices postage in US dollars, and your checkout converts it to Australian dollars at the rate on the day. The underlying cost is steady — the number in AUD drifts as the exchange rate moves. Rather than print a figure that quietly goes stale, we give you the band it moves within. The figure at checkout is the one you pay, and you will always see it before you pay, never after.

Where two options appear, Economy is slower and cheaper, Standard is quicker. Both are tracked.

How long it takes

Making takes 2 to 5 business days. Delivery then depends on where you are and what you bought:

  • Shirts — Australia: 5 to 10 business days in transit, so 7 to 15 business days all up
  • Shirts — United States: 5 to 10 business days in transit, so 7 to 15 business days all up
  • Hoodie — Australia: 12 to 35 business days in transit, so 14 to 40 business days all up
  • Hoodie — United States: 4 to 10 business days in transit, so 6 to 15 business days all up

The hoodie is made in a United States workshop, which is why an American order arrives faster than an Australian one. If you are in Australia and you want the hoodie by a particular date, order it early — that outer limit is real, not decorative. A small number of parcels take the long road. If yours passes it, write to us and we will chase it or remake it.

Changing your mind about the size

We hold new orders for 24 hours before they go into production. Inside that window, tell us and we will change the size at no cost — the hoodie included. After it arrives, any garment can be returned or swapped within 30 days if unworn and unwashed. Within Australia the return postage is on us — post it back, keep the receipt, and we refund the postage with the garment. From outside Australia the postage back to us is at your cost. Tracking

You will get a tracking number by email when the parcel leaves. Tracking can take 48 hours to show movement.

Duties and import taxes

Orders outside Australia may attract import duty or tax in the destination country. That is set by your government, not by us, and is not included in what you pay at checkout unless the checkout says otherwise. You are responsible for it.

Wrong address

We send to the address you give us. If it is wrong and the parcel comes back, we will resend it once you cover the postage. If it does not come back, we cannot replace it for free, as the garment was made for you and cannot be resold.
